With an emphasis that insight from the sociology of technology can inform better policy decisions around controversial technologies, her work led her to see that the radically user-driven aspect of vaping has been overlooked by most actors and agencies attempting to research and regulate the products, resulting in policies with dangerous unintended consequences for both public health and social welfare. Hoping to effect positive change in how influential outsiders think about vaping, she combines her academic research with active engagement and intervention in the controversy over the regulation of vapor technology.

Awards
These awards aren't about the best tasting e-Liquid, or most innovative mods. These awards are about the people who have and continue to work hard to make sure the community will still to be able to enjoy those things.
Whether it be through contributions, leadership, principles, time, influence, or any other factor that make him or her invaluable to the vape industry, domestically or globally, those are some of the reasons why award recipients are being recognized.
Recognition
As a primary objective of the Global Thought Leadership Conference, fundraising for advocacy is essential for the future of this industry. We know most of you are already planning on contributing, but we wanted to provide a platform to recognize contributors at our event. At the dinner, and throughtout the conference, we'll have a photo opportunities set up with prop checks for contributors to take a picture with so that we may recognize your contribution in various media outlets. Also, if you're making a really big contribution, we'll recognize you on the stage.
Interested in pitching your brand to some game changing global distribution leaders? Consider how epic this opportunity is, because even if you don't win a contract, there's a whole room full of people who just heard your pitch.
Register to attend the conference and make your contribution to advocacy, as each they decide who gets a shot at the pitch panel.
